Pend Oreille Chinooks Sandpoint, Idaho
 
Welcome to Pend Oreille Chinooks! (pronounced Pon-de-ray) We are located in beautiful Northern Idaho on Lake Pend Oreille . The lake was named by French Explorers for it’s ear shape, or after it’s earring-adorned natives. Chinooks have three various ear sets, so we thought “how appropriate!” Our first Chinook is ‘PR’ Aspencreek’s Mountain Dancer “Tanse” and our second is ‘PR’ Brownstone Nala. We have added Nala’s offspring, from her first litter, who now has our kennel name, ‘PR’ Pend Oreille Talache! Tanse, Talache, Nala Our dogs are wonderful companions to us and have inspired us to get out and enjoy the great outdoors! They are great family dogs and just enjoy being with us in whatever we choose to do. Our dogs have participated in obedience classes, sledding and agility classes.
