Organized from the bottom up, from the smallest villages of the developing world to the cities of industrialized nations, a global movement has emerged as an extraordinary expression of people's desire for a better world and a better life. Until now, no symbol has captured this movement. HotfrogTM is this symbol, and Hotfrog.orgTM is its global, collaborative hub.

Confronting the burning issues of our times
Raised to global consciousness by the film An Inconvenient Truth, a frog in slowly-heating water ignores its dire situation as it proceeds to slowly cook. Today, millions of people throughout the global community are concerned that we humans—amidst global warming, population growth, and economic turmoil—are like that hot frog on a slow-flame.
Hotfrog.orgTM confronts these burning issues—from global warming to the global economy, social justice, food, war—in every region of the world through the words and images of both professional and citizen writers, journalists, photographers, videographers, and graphic artists.
Promoting the best in citizen journalism
HotPlaceTM is the community section of Hotfrog.orgTM where HotplaceTM members, “Hotfrogs,” share the unique stories of their own places. It is here that Hotfrogs can connect with one another based on their interest, location, issue or cause, share their successes, upload unique content, report on breaking news, and work together for a better world.
Hotfrog, LLC is a new media company embodying the values of the global environmental and social justice movement.
