All students are required to complete 4 credits of Language Arts (English 1 - English 4).

Students who scored a Level one or Level two on FCAT are required by the state to receive Intensive Reading instruction.  Those students are scheduled into Intensive Reading classes to assist in raising Reading skills.

Advanced Placement courses in Language Arts are AP Language and Composition and AP Literature.
