Chris Bucks' love of drumming began long before he can remember.
Born to classically trained musicians, Chris grew up in the rough and tumble Crestline Manor
district of Chicago's south side. Music kept him from the golf clubs and zip guns of local street
gangs such as the SBA, the Ma Beefy Boys, the Bogan Park Boys, and the 69th Street Loafers.

like Gene Krupa, Buddy Rich, and Chick Webb. His love of the
great bands of the swing era soon earned him the reputation as the
least sought after drummer in Chicago's rock and roll
neighborhoods. Blues finally built the bridge to success in the world
of the low paying bar band circuit and he hooked up with
Voodoo Cadillac, a rag tag bunch of bio-medical researchers, electrical engineers and an
english literature professor. Driving the band like a rented mule, he beats the boys into
submission by the end of every gig. He is also the bands only real "looker". Sorry girls, he's taken.
