This morning marked the return of my flying buddy Jack Lyon from Sunbird Balloons in Lake Geneva.  We flew out of the Burlington Municipal Airport.  

 

Today’s flight marked 7 months without flying together.  Jack and I will spend the next 5-6 months flying most of our flights together.  Jack works for a company that I used to work for and flies a balloon that I flew for 2 years when I worked at Sunbird Balloons.  

 

Jack spends his winters in Arizona flying in the desert and has come north to Wisconsin to fly a big 210,000 cu. ft. balloon that carries some 10 passengers.

 

Although Jack works for a competitor, we work together during flights to help minimize landowner relations issues and to promote safety for both of our teams and customers.

 

Its great to have you back Buuuuuuuuud!!!!
