For the past several years, my wife Cheryl and I have been asked to help crew for the Brooks and Dunn hot air balloon.

 

The Pilot of the B&D balloon, Joe Shevenell, is a very experienced balloon pilot and we’ve crewed for him a half-dozen times or so.  It’s a very sweet gig... we set up the balloon and fly or tether.  Once that is over we get to attend the concert for free and go backstage!

 

This evening we head up to Milwaukee to join Joe at the Summer Fest grounds.  The weather is not looking good for flight, but I know the concert will be great!
