Lacey grew up in a very musical family.  She has been playing piano for 17 years and has studied privately with some of the best piano teachers and professors in the state of Colorado.

After having been awarded a High School Diploma by the National Guild of Piano Teachers through examination at the National Piano Playing Auditions, Lacey continued to study music and received a Bachelor of Music with an emphasis in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Colorado State University.  She went on to do her graduate work at the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Lacey has taught piano in Colorado for ten years, and currently has a wonderful studio of over 45 students from all over the Boulder area.  She loves music, loves teaching and is a very warm, enthusiastic person.  Lacey is an active member in the MTNA, CSMTA, and BAMTA organizations.  She currently resides with her miniature apricot poodle, Cooper, in Loveland, CO.
