The first graders in Ms. Coffel’s and Ms. Wilson’s classes read and study a new poem each week. Both classes meet together on Fridays for “Poetry Buddies” sessions, where children work with a partner from the other class on various poem-related activities. In addition to this routine, a small group of students is selected each week to record a Podcast related to the poem of the week. Over the course of the year, all students will have the opportunity to be involved in at least one Podcast. We hope you enjoy listening!
