Ransom Wilson’s first annual masterclass in England will take place in the beautiful and historic Saint Catharine’s College, Cambridge. Founded in 1473, the College is one of more than 20 colleges in the University of  Cambridge, and is located in the heart of the city, next to King’s College and within walking distance of the river Cam, antique fairs, shops, and many other tourist attractions.  The College was largely rebuilt in the 17th century, and the Chapel, where all flute classes and concerts will take place, was begun in 1673 and completed in 1704. Cambridge itself is 50 minutes from the centre of London and close to the historic towns of Colchester and King’s Lynn.
