In 1982, the fashion designer Pucci was visiting at the little university town I was living at. Ten minutes into his prepared, public presentation, he froze, bent down, and pulled a young, lucky freshmen girl out of the fashion worshiping audience. Mr. Pucci then whisked her out of the auditorium and into his awaiting, stretch limo, where they sped off to Minneapolis with a direct flight to Milan. The town was abuzz with this Cinderella Story. I was worried about her lack of fashion world preparation, and installed Underlying Rhythm the next day in front of the School of Fashion Merchandizing. Basically, its a quick visual acquaintance with the rhythm method.
