Scott has spent his career in the think-tank, political, social media and digital journalism fields. He holds an academic background in Political Science (BA) and Diplomacy & International Conflict Management (MA). In the future, Scott hopes to transition into working in the international crisis, conflict management and reconstruction, international aid and development, advocacy, and/or international media fields.

As an avid writer, Scott has written various op-eds, blog posts and academic essays. His pieces have appeared in the Hawaii Reporter, Politics.com, theSkittzo and on his personal Tumblr.

Scott grew up in the Seattle metro area and spent his early childhood years overseas in both Germany and Italy. He has traveled and lived in many places, having also recently spent time in both Hawaii and Virginia.

Today, Scott lives in Washington, DC with his wife, Alicia.
