from generation to generation, photographs have marked our history.  some of us are lucky enough to know our parents, grandparents and in some cases great grandparents.  old memories are replaced with new ones, or in many cases, our perceptions of the memories.

photographs have the ability to capture a moment in time which can remind us of people or relationships we had with our ancestors that provide a sense of warmth, of belonging.
