Due to this battle being scheduled at the last minute we had a small turn out of 8 club members and 2 visitors. We lent tanks to the visitors, who had smiles on their faces most the day; Chris said he even got one kill!  The new battle field proved to be pretty challenging.  The mountain roads and the forrest provided lots of cover, but there are plenty of lanes to shoot through or be shot from, so you had to be on your toes.  Because of the less dense portions of the battle field and the elevation differences there were also plenty of opportunities for long sniper shots.  I heard club member quit a few times compliment their opponent “nice shot”.  We battled from 11:00 – 6:00 then most of the crew headed home.  Five of us hit the field again around 7:30 PM for a little night battle which was a lot of fun; unfortunately the memory card to my camera was full so I wasn’t able to get any night battle pictures.  Way too much fun! – I can’t wait till the next one!!
