Just another “hot” battle day in
sunny souther california!
This day was made for the Afrika Corps - 93 degrees! The guys from AZ were happy, it was 20 degrees HOTTER back there! Despite the heat we had a great turnout. Close to 35 people were partaking of Steve and Katie’s hospitality and good chow. We had around 25 tank drivers also. One of these days we need to remember to take some group photos - of both the tankers and the tanks.
Once the weather cooled down, everyone settled down and stopped talking “tank” we finally got some battles started. We had a few blowouts and some nail biters, neither the Allied nor Axis dominated the day.
