e-Kritika is the place to find data, primary documents, special historiographic or source-critical exegeses, or visual components that cannot be accommodated by the print or electronically published versions of Kritika: Explorations in Russian and Eurasian History. It is also the home of online discussions of published articles, to which readers can contribute by sending an e-mail message to ekritika@mac.com. Forums on Russian monarchy and the rule of law, Soviet society, and archival citation practices are available, as well as the Russian original of Natalia Avtonomova’s article on the difficulty of translating philosophical concepts across cultures (Kritika 9, 1 [2008]: 189–229). We are currently launching a discussion on marketing historical scholarship. Future additions to e-Kritika will be announced here and in the “From the Editors” section of the journal.
