Kristin Herbster is currently at work on two photography books: Re:producing Motherhood, which investigates the contemporary experience of American motherhood, and Inheritance, which investigates the world we produce for our children and their experience of that world.


Re:producing Motherhood (22 photographs and 5 text panels) was recently on exhibit at Stanford University. The next incarnation of this work is as a large scale installation that includes light, sound, text and at least 50 suspended photographs, creating a multi-dimensional experience of expansion and alignment.
