Artist’s Statement I feel the universal spirit through my photography. To capture a moment, I must be fully present, just as Zen poets are aware of the intimate details around them.   To be fully present is to feel the pulse of the universe that connects everything and everyone around us. In the words of John Lennon - “Imagine all the people sharing all the world. You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one. I hope someday you’ll join us, and the world will be as one.” I hope that my photographs and poetry touch you in that same way, helping us understand and have ever more compassion for each other.
