Give two people the exact same food, and their bodies will process it differently. One may get fat; another may lose weight, and another may have an allergic reaction. But too often, the scientific community looks at one particular chemical out of the thousands that make up our food. They extract this amino acid or that enzyme, study how it works on particular types of people, make it into a pill, package it, slap a disclaimer on the bottle and recommend it to everyone over 18.
We were never intended to eat chemicals. The food we have been given to eat is whole and perfect. It feeds us in countless ways, interacting with every system of the body.
During our personal training sessions or the Power of Six program, we will examine your entire nutritional picture – what you eat, and how it affects your body. We’ll look at the demands of your life: your family, work, and responsibilities. We’ll look at how your body functions today: your sleep patterns, hormone levels, and eating habits. We’ll design a nutritional program that you’ll never find in a best-selling book a program that reflects who you really are.
