The Kalihi-Palama Culture & Arts Society, Inc. announces that the 37th Annual Queen Lili’uokalani Keiki Hula Competition will be held on July 19-21, 2012 at the Blaisdell Center Arena.  Tickets will be available at the Blaisdell box office from July 7th. 

A special mahalo nui loa to our title sponsor, the Office of Hawaiian Affairs.  Their support enables us to broadcast the hula kahiko and hula ‘auana performances on KITV4.    

In August 2011, KPCA was fortunate to be one of seven organizations to receive a gift contribution from Disney in honor of the family’s opening of the Aulani Resort & Spa.  Disney selected organizations that enrich the lives of children and support the Hawaiian culture and conservation.  The Queen Lili’uokalani Keiki Hula Competition and Disney both share in the belief that it is important to malama the children and provide learning opportunities in the traditions of Hawai’i.
