What better to do the last weeks of a calendar year then plan a show, advertise a show, market a show, cast a show, develope a show, and peform in a show?
If that’s not what you are doing the last few moments of the 7th year of this decade then you are TOTALLY missing out....oh and by missing out I really mean: enjoying your holiday, resting during your holiday, and laughing at people like me during your holiday.
Showstoppers has thus far performed like 12 times in a fourth as many years so why not one last one for 2007!? We’re doing some Christmas Classics: White Christmas, Blue Christmas, Yellow Christmas jj, Winter Wonderland, It’s Beginning To Look Alot Like Christmas, O Holy Night, Silent Night, Hark the Herald...and bunches more.
Twas the night before Showstoppers and all through the Koehler house. Not a person was practicing not even the spouse. The scripts were hung by the ceiling fans with care, in hopes that some original material might somehow appear.
We’ve got a fabulous cast once again but it’s these last minute shows that are going to drive me into a life-size version of Mary Girard. Look it up. So another curtain call another sea of audience members clapping for Ole St. Nick this time....okay maybe for us chitlins...but I doubt it!
Hey the mayor will be there though! Update about the show’s outcome to follow!! See ya there!
peace. love. and visions of quarter notes.
