Entitled Floss Like a Beast: A collection of Incredibly Strange Folk Songs, this new CD includes such silly, satirical songs as “I'm Like Totally, Oh My God!” “Renegade Cows” and “Brain Gobblers from Outer Space.” Originally from upstate New York, Joe Soko has been writing and performing his unique brand of twisted, absurdist satirical songs since 1986. Joe got his start performing in a number of comic music groups such as The Fungus Fire Tabernacle Choir, Locust Pudding and The Einstein Prunefinger Ensemble. Now situated in San Francisco, Joe Soko has performed in numerous Bay Area venues such as The Brainwash Café, The Hotel Utah and The Mock Café. In addition, Joe Soko is a cast member of the hilarious sketch comedy Television show Fuzzy Planet TV which airs every Saturday night at 11 PM on San Francisco cable Channel 29.
