Ken goes green

On Friday, I was driving a 340-HP Dodge Magnum with a Hemi V-8.
On Saturday, I’d seen the light (and Al Gore’s movie) and opted for a more Earth-friendly (and driver-fun) ride: a fully loaded 2007 Camry Hybrid. 40MPG, here I come.
(At least, I hope so. Can’t be worse then what I got on the Dodge....)
Camry ‘07
Yes, it’s a Camry -- my first Toyota in 30 years or so.
Magnetic Gray Metallic brings out the lines.
Low-key badging.
A still sleepy, but happy Hybrid driver.
The redesign for ’07 finally gives the Camry some character.
Even the headlights look high-end.
The taillights, different from those in other Camry models, use LEDs.
A close-up of the taillights.
The interior is VERY nice.
A not quite focused shot of the gauges, sans backlighting.
And lit up.
The center stack has the Navigation system and radio.
A wider view of the front seat and dash.
And the view from the passenger’s side.
Hybrid teach: A decent 4-cylinder and a small electric motor = good mileage.
The synergy drive.
A long view of the engine bay from the side...
A happy Camry camper....
