There is an idea that nations and borders don’t need to exist and that humans have created more problems in the world by adhering to the ideal of nationalism rather than by trying to dissolve borders. On the other hand, degrading the integrity of nations could lead to the loss of individual cultures. This paradox is a fundamental conflict in EU growth and ascension. EU member states have developed laws that will protect their individuality and also advance their European influence on neighboring states. The US has similar programs that aim to expand influence, I am in one of them. This is a fun site where you can go an make a map of all the countries you have visited. I like to call the result, “The Kristine Empire” . I will have a few more places to add before the end of June . The resulting percentage shows percent of all world countries, not percent of land area covered by the countries you visited.
