Welcome to Senior Kindergarten!  We have an exciting and eventful year planned for your child this year!  We will start the year off with the unit, Welcome to School.  We will begin to learn the everyday routine and become familiar with the Senior Kindergarten rules and schedule. We will learn to read and write, and learn to share and get along with all our friends.  We will learn about all the letters and letter sounds in the alphabet!  We will also learn about all the numbers 1-100, time, money, addition, subtraction, geometric shapes, and patterns.  We will learn to form a sentence correctly, and journal, journal, journal!!! We are excited about our new reading series, SRA.  Our units this year will be Off to School, Patterns, Finding Friends, By the Sea, Thanksgiving and Christmas, Stick to It, My Shadow, Teamwork, Ready, Set, Grow, Red White and Blue, and Windy Days.  We are looking forward to another great year in Senior Kindergarten!
