My high school band director and private clarinet instructor, Ms. Trina McPeake, has had a great impact on my life.  She always concentrated on the emotion of the music more than anything else, and caused me to do the same.  Trina taught us to love music, and influenced me to become a music teacher because I want to make students feel the same way that I felt about music when I was in school.  She is one of my master teachers, and she is a dear friend.
