I really enjoyed painting this piece, mostly
because I lose myself in sargent’s work.
From the Metropolitan Museum of Art,
a young woman is losing herself in
John Singer Sargent’s “Mr. and Mrs. I. N. Phelps Stokes”.
Worth mentioning is a slight glimpse to the left,
Sargent’s painting “Lady with a Rose”.
