I don’t have a daily painting to offer today - I got caught up in this piece that I titled “Arrested Motion” - a often-used description of Degas’ figurative works. This young woman was viewing Edgar Degas’ “Dancers at the Barre”, which hangs in the Philips Collection. The older part of the museum was once a home - the rooms are small and intimate with squeaky wooden floors and wonderful little windows.
This painting will be available for purchase thru Cohen-Rese Gallery.
