An extraordinary thing
happened here - a woman
wrote me to say she
also enjoyed her recent
visit to the same museum
I’ve been writing about
on this blog and even
stayed at the same hotel.
She described herself
and what she was wear-
ing, and what do you
know? I took a picture
of her that very day.
How cool is that?
That was the inspiration
I needed for this new
piece - a reminder of
the unexpected pleasures
of life and how close we come to each other without even knowing so. Thanks
to my friend, Diane, for this shared moment in both of our days.

Okay - there’s even more to this story - another woman named Dian wrote me to say she was also at the same museum on the same day. Crazy huh? Maybe I got her picture too. :)
