“Wacker & Wabash”
5 x 7” oil on masonite

I'm a huge fan of an artist named Ben Aronson.
His large paintings of city streets are vivid glances of shafts of light and fast-paced commuters.
The trick is to not overdo it - and that's harder than it sounds.I think a lot of painters struggle with that.
Still, I continue to learn.

This moment was on the corner of Wacker and Wabash, about a block from the Chicago River.
