There's something about painting beds that I just love. My artist friend, Karen Hollingsworth, does too. Perhaps it's just the calm and quiet nature of the subject. In this piece - the soft, dusk light coming in through the window, changing the colors on the blanket and the pillows, is particularly sweet to me.
