“Benched”

Despite its looseness, this painting took me twice as long to complete because the first attempt was wiped off the board.
It was pickier, more detailed -
but I hated it.
On the second attempt, I put away my little brush, used a wide, flat one instead and stuck to freehand. No sketching it out.
I love this painting.
It is how I, personally, want to paint. Shapes, angles, color.....
a more natural view of life.
