“Approachable”

So I’m in The Phillips Collection (museum), talking with a woman who was admiring the Degas - she
says she got to see the Mona Lisa
recently but was disappointed that the painting was hung behind glass, surrounded by a box with more glass. It makes you appreciate the
ones that are approachable, she said.

This is my tribute to both the Mona Lisa and the nice woman I met that day.
