“50th & Madison”
6 x 6” oil on masonite

Moving on with my second afternoon in New York - the MOMA got a bit too crowded for me so I hopped back onto the double-decker bus, sat up on top for a fabulous view of the city.
By this time, it was over 100 degrees, so it was just me and the tour guide.

This is a high view of the hustle and bustle of 50th and Madison - not so many people on the streets as you would expect because the smart ones had found some air-conditioning.
This is a really neat, miniature cityscape. It's just amazing how much color can fit into a little six inch square.
