As I was roasting in my studio this afternoon, my neighbor
yelled "come go swimming!". Well...twist my arm.
And that was indeed my daily inspiration.
I have this great obsession to paint skin - with all its layered, sometimes-subtle tones of greens, blues, purples mixed in with flesh. There are the coolest brush strokes in this piece - nearly impossible to portray in a web-ready photo. I promise. This is a cool, little painting in person.
