Monday stuff.....

One of the painters mentioned in today’s article, another painting-a-day artist, is
David Darrow.  I want you pay attention
to his work - he paints with vivid color, uses painterly brush strokes - very wonderful artwork.

On Mondays I must spend quality time at my real job. My frame shop. Somebody’s gotta pay the bills. I barely get home in time to make some dinner, walk the dogs and make sure I’m in front of the TV for my favorite show “24”.  So..... I think I’ll reserve my Monday entries for thoughts, ideas, links and occasionally a work-in-progress.  Starting tonight.  I hope you’ll enjoy.
My good artist-friend, Chris Stott, let me know I was mentioned on Charley Parker’s blog called Lines & Colors.  How cool is that? Charley wrote about several painters who have taken on the painting-a-day challenge, including Duane Keiser. Charley writes in-depth articles about art and has valuable links to art, artists and relating subjects. You’ll enjoy his site. It is one of THE best art-related websites I’ve ever seen.
