Would you believe this is my 100th daily painting? Goodness. Before you know it, it’ll be Thanksgiving. This is a smaller version of one that I’ve wanted to do for a long time. It’s just a lot of work reproducing Andy Warhol’s portraits of Marilyn Monroe. This young woman was seemingly intrigued with these glamorous images - the collection hangs in the High Museum of Art, in Atlanta. a quick note...... this is probably a good time for me to sign off for a while. I’ve got to get things together for my trip, finish up some painting for the galleries and create my new ‘painting a day - volume 2’ art book, including paintings 51 - 100.
