This painting was my moment of Zen tonight.
So excuse the temporary break in my New York series - I just needed to paint something I could get lost in.
There's a good bit of layering on this one. Thick, painterly - a bit more than usual. That's great fun for me. It's got a lot of movement even though it's still.
I love that.
