I did this painting on Thursday - woke up Friday and didn’t like the cold colors so much. I like warmth. So I revised it.
This gallery is in the Art Institute of Chicago - the bronze statue is “Portrait of Balzac” by Rodin, the painting to the right is “Paris Street, Rainy Day”, by Caillebotte and the man in the background is viewing Renoir’s “On the Terrace”.
