“Tequila Sunrise I”
6 x 6” oil on masonite

My neighbor, Connie, gave me a few new Tequila Sunrise Roses from her garden. They are my favorite of all roses.

Now the night before, I was
admiring Ken Auster’s paintings of roses, positioned in different ways, with varied color combinations. That inspired me to try a series - exploring different lighting, compositions and practice some loose, happy brush strokes. I hope you will enjoy them.
