“Little Parachutes”
6 x 6” oil on masonite

One of the cool, little
miracles of life. As kids,
we used to call these
“blow balls”. We’d run
around the yard picking
every single one - and
blow on the little seeds
to send them on their
way. I always thought
they looked like little parachutes.  Painting this took some imagination. Using
tools I rarely pick up. Like a palette knife. And an old, spent, brittle paint brush.
Very fun to do.
