“42nd & Park Avenue”
6 x 6” oil on masonite

I had spent the last two hours
exploring Grand Central
Station - took lots of photos,
which I’m sure will be one
of the paintings I’ll do for
Purdue University.  But I
was beat and ready to call
it a day.  The walk back to
my hotel was just a few
blocks down Park Avenue,
with a pit stop into Starbucks
 for a mocha frappacino.
Oh yea.

As I left Grand Central, the
dusky light was calming -
and instantly I was homesick.
That happens to me every
night when I’m away - I’m very
much a homebody. But, indeed, I was looking
forward to relaxing and looking over my photos of the day.
