Crazytown, NY City

At the risk of sounding like a wuss, I have NEVER been THAT hot and THAT tired and THAT stressed in all my adult life. Holy christ. I picked the
three HOTTEST days that New York has seen this year.  But I did it. I survived the NY heat wave of 2006.  I got exactly what I went for - some fabulous photos to use for the paintings for Purdue University. The pieces are to depict business - the hustle & bustle of life - the commuting - the order or disorder of masses of people in a workday. What better a place, huh?

Well anyways....... the elevator at my hotel was shut down and I was on the 7th floor  - and my departure experience sucked.  Long lines at the airport, plane delayed for over 3 hours...... yikes.  I shall recover and get on with the wonderful, quiet, enjoyable, peaceful, calmer, friendlier world that I live in. There is no place like home.  Indeed.

I hope you’ll check back tomorrow evening for my newest painting-a-day.
