“A Face in the Crowd”

There is nothing quite as striking as Chicago's Crown Fountain, in Millennium Park. Two columns with huge faces, with Michigan Avenue in the backdrop. It is one of my favorite places.
I had fun with this painting - starting with large blocks of colors in all degrees of grey and browns - then dabbing little cubes of colors, impressionistic hints of windows and reflections.
