“Comfort Zone”

It was an easy choice what to paint today. The skies were
gray and cozy and the rain was a nice, cool change from these hot days in Atlanta. So naturally I think of a bed. This is my friend’s guest room - with the cool-blue, morning light coming in on and below the old, brass bed. I’m working towards a larger version of this view - from the hallway, through the door - I especially love the glimpse into the room.
