Strawberries are one of those beautiful foods, inside and out. A “must paint before I eat it” thing. I was about five minutes into this painting and got caught up in a phone conversation - painting the whole time I was talking. I kinda went into a trance, just dabbing away - while gabbing away. It made for a looser, more expressive piece - the kind I really like.
