“Little Shakers”
6 x 6” oil on masonite

Being with me can be embarrassing sometimes.  I’m always taking pictures and always marveling over how something I see would make a great painting. Picture me dining alone on my trip to San Francisco - the waiter takes my order and I proceed to move all these things around on my table and take photographs - while the people sitting next to me think I’m loopy. It happens all the time. I have no shame.  But look at how cool these little salt & pepper shakers are - in my eyes they’re little sculptures. And this is what oil paints are made for.
