“Mother’s Day” (at the Philips)

Here’s a new painting I have been working on all weekend. I do think it is one of my very favorite pieces. Perhaps it’s the woman’s white pantsuit and white shoes against the neutral wall - or the painting she is looking at closely, of mothers and daughters - combine that all with this moment in time, taken on Mother’s Day at the museum.
