“Flirtin’ and Slurpin’

Moving on with my first day in Chicago - I spent quite a lot of time
in Millennium Park, enjoying the people-watching mostly, like this young
teenage couple sitting on the bench, in the sunshine just flirtin' and slurpin'.
They were pretty cute together.
 
I'm mostly happy with this painting because it's how I strive to see
and paint - casual brushstrokes with deliberate highlights and vivid colors.
I really love this piece.
