I have to admit, I’m not a big mushroom fan. It’s not that I don’t appreciate the beauty of them, I just don’t like to eat them.  
 
Portobello mushrooms are fabulous in structure. The cap and the stem are thick and the underside of the cap have these radial flaps that kinda resemble a pool filter.  Really a beautiful subject to paint.
