Mission
When you envisioned yourself at college, did you imagine a world of ideas, cultural activities, and vibrant new horizons that extended well beyond the classroom? Are you genuinely interested in international politics, global trends, world religions, Thai food, Pedro Almodovar films, house music of Paul van Dyk, or African literature? Do you want to live with adventurous, diverse, and inquisitive students from around the globe? If you answered yes to these questions, then the I-House may be the place for you.

The I-House is a new on-campus residence option at Georgia Tech. A limited number of US and international students form a living community and share a commitment to:
1) promote cultural exchange and awareness
2) contribute to a healthy and dynamic living community
3) explore the global dynamics of politics, current events, economics, and culture

The I-House is an energetic and vibrant place to live, filled with world music, international news and magazines, and the aromas of Asian teas. Best of all, it is full of students who are enthusiastic about our world and open to ideas and conversations about how the world works.

The mission of the I-House goes beyond the building of a living community, by extending horizontally to build networks with other international organizations and clubs on campus and by enhancing the international activities, lectures, and film festivals that take place at Georgia Tech. Additionally, the I-House reaches out to participate in and enhance the vast offering of international activities at other local universities and throughout the vibrant city of Atlanta.

The I-House is generously funded by the Georgia Tech Provost’s Office, the Housing Office, and the Office of International Education. There is NO program fee charged to the residents.
